Applying for a Program & Receiving a Catalog

FIRST FILL OUT THE APPLICATION REQUEST BELOW, OR CALL US AT (707) 822-5223. As soon as we have received your Application Request, we'll send out our full course catalog.  The catalog contains an Application for Admission.  Fill out the Application and send it to us.  All courses do fill up, so being prompt with your application makes it much more likely that you'll get a spot in the class of your choice.  Late applications are considered until one week before the course start date.   As soon as your Application has passed our initial review, an Admissions advisor will call you to set up an enrollment interview. Phone interviews are available for out-of-town applicants.  Out-of-town applicants must be settled in Arcata by one month before the start of classes.

Registering for Continuing Education

To register for a Continuing Ed. class, simply mail full payment, along with your name, address, phone number and the name and date of the class you are registering for to: ARCATA SCHOOL OF MASSAGE, 145 G STREET SUITE E, ARCATA CA 95521.   For specific information about a class, call us during regular business hours.

In response to the current economic downturn, we've reduced our tuition by $1000, starting in March of 2009.

600-hour Integrated Curriculum

Tuition: Was $9850. Reduced tuition is now $8850.
SAVE AN ADDITIONAL $1000 WITH OUR WORK-TRADE SCHOLARSHIP.
$12.64 per credit hour (non-scholarship) or down to $11.21 per credit hour (scholarship)

Compare our cost-per-credit with other schools by dividing the total tuition amount by the number of hours in the program.

Trimesters Program with Electives

$12.64 per credit hour (separate trimesters), down to $11.44 per credit hour (all 3 trimesters). Add the Work-Trade Scholarship and bring tuition down to $7010 – that's just $10.01 per credit hour!

 

 

$1000 WORK-TRADE SCHOLARSHIP

When you sign up for the Work-Trade Scholarship, we immediately credit $1000 to your tution account. That means that your initial payments are $1000 less. When you pair our Work-Trade Scholarship with our 0% Tuition Assistance Loan, you lower your monthly payments by as much as $150 a month.

Most ASM students choose to use our Work-Trade Scholarship option. For one month after you graduate, you continue your clinic internship, and everything you earn goes directly toward paying your tuition – up to $1000. It's like having your first job!

Actual scholarship amount depends on the number of massages you give. All proceeds during your one month Work-Trade period go toward your tuition. You must graduate in good standing to participate in the Scholarship clinic.

0% APR Tuition Assistance Loan

For the Integrated Curriculum, you can pay your tuition in monthly installments with our 0% APR Tuition Assistance Loan. Other Loan Options are available for the Trimesters Program. Call Admissions at (707) 822-5223 for details.

Loan Option 1: Two payments of $4425 (or $3925 with Scholarship)

Loan Option 2: Eleven monthly payments of $804.54 (or $654.17 with Scholarship)

NEW LOAN OPTION 3: Flexible Monthly Payments – Minimum down payment of $2000 followed by monthly payments lowers monthly amount. For example, with the Scholarship and a $2000 initial payment, monthly payments would be $585.00. The larger the initial payment, the smaller the monthly payments.
